Not too bad of a story so far. In spite of the anthropomorphized animals, its resemblance to Usagi Yojimbo is only superficial. The slightly more realistic art style helps to differ it from Stan Sakai's cartoony style. But apparently there's some magical/fantasy stuff going on, too (giant beetles?).

I look forward to reading the rest of the story.
